I would like to open the topic of banning FileRice.com as a filehost for violating the intent of

2.4.4 - You may not post links to content that require registration or a premium account to download.

While the hoster presents itself as rules compliant,




When slow download is selected, in denies/limits free download in an effort to incentivize premium subscription...



I've attempted download of several links today, all within 2-3 hours of posting. Even if there is a window of free download, its way to short or limited as an effective solution for posters or downloaders. Maybe others experience have been different?

Just checked the hoster as it's been a week. Same experience in a different form.

Presents itself as rules compliant with free downloads, but then denies free download to incentivize premium subscription.

Tested with files that have been posted less than 1 hour ago, as well as files posted several days ago. Behavior persists across different browsers, different IP's. Tested with VPN on, tested with VPN off.

I tested with uBlock origin off for thrills, but as my first attempt resulted in looping popup's and badware risks, I wasn't keen to continue to validate that specific behavior.

This weeks form looks presents itself as a denial with a random time associated to it. All exampled were a first download attempt with a fresh browser and fresh IP.
