Anton Vladimirovich

Just going to interrupt the marvelous work of Roman Tretyakov for a mild interlude into the problem of too-dark photography, with the example of Anton Vladimirovich. Now he quite clearly has the skills with a camera, the models, and for the most part the framing, but there's a little lacking in the posing, and a lot lacking in actual light. It's rare when I'm collecting someone's work where I give up, because it all starts to look the same to the point of being slightly dull, but Anton, alas, got me there. I suspect that the lack of nudity is because he's doing TFP (trade for photos), so there's a lot of glamour here, but the major issue is that he'd just gone too dark with his style. It's hard to do dark colour photography well. I know several boudoir photographers who go to the edge of monochrome and pull it off. It's clear Vladimirovich is emulating Konard, Verner, Pechin, Schmitt, and others, but there's a big distance before he gets there. Some of those might have slipped through in this collection - you'll probably notice the differences immediately. (550ish images)
