I don't have a VR set, so I haven't thought about it yet. Maybe this area isn't mainstream enough in their eyes yet. From what I remember, in the past they tried to shoot some videos in 3D, and in the end this move turned out to be unsuccessful.

That was a couple of years ago now and the tech in the VR space has certainly improved since then. But, they still most likely think VR porn is small niche though and doesn't make sense financially.

A Meta Quest 3 is some 600 eur and the experience is SO AMAZING !!! (I download my stuff from Sexlikereal.com - very large collection, reasonable pricing).
Sub-standard quality? Rubbish. Its excellent. And the next generation of VR headsets is coming with Meta having announced the Meta VR Glasses, there are VR sets with high res OLED displays and everything.

Anyone who says this is a "niche" or "sub standard quality" just has no clue what they are talking about and probably never tried it.

Its such a pity.

I completely agree. What they did a couple of years ago was really poor—which is likely why it wasn't well-received—but they’ve made a lot of progress since then. The only thing I regret is that I don’t think we’ll see any more of Lexa (my personal number one), and it’s unlikely we’ll get anything featuring Maria Rya (my number two)!
