Once Bob6-2 said about the Master: "Beautiful pictures. Cheap models, cheap sets, but he had Style..."

Our Master began his attempt to become an erotic photographer when he was still studying classical painting in Leningrad, but he did not really get into it until he was 36 years old and - in March 1993, during a trip he made to his native Razdelnaya (Ukraine)- he visited Odessa and came into contact with a circle of erotic photographers who operated there. It was in this circle that he met Svetlana Novchenova (aka Anais Demois & Cveta), one of the women in charge of preparing young models for their performance in front of the camera. The understanding between them was instant and after managing to cover certain debts she had with local producers, she accompanied Master Galitsin to Volgograd, where she would become his girlfriend, assistant and business front (that's why all his earliest web directions includes the name Cveta: cveta99.da.ru, artoffice.de_cveta, cybamall.com_cveta99, cveta2000.chat.ru, etc.)

Cveta was initially in charge of managing the models with the contacts provided to her by the Odessa producers, while the Master did the same in Sergey Babenko's circle. One of the first models Cveta attracted was Katya Mitina, who would appear in the papers as the founder and CEO of the Online Model Agency of South Russia Katusha, the system Cveta and the Master designed to start their operations in Volgograd.

Katya worked for the Master from June 1997 until October 15th, 2001, when Petter Hegre met her and offered the Master a great deal to take her with him. Katya would live with him for several years and become pregnant with Petter's child.

So, the first Galitsin Girl to become internationally famous was Katya Mitina, thanks to Hegre's exposure of her. However, the master's other models were always virtually unknown girls, forced to work for greedy pimps or parents desperately in need of financial resources. However, on some rare occasions between the years 1999-2003 the Master used some girls who also posed for other photographers like Misha, a girl of Dima Zvere's stock who posed for Alexander Shakhabalov, Andrey Slastyonoff and the Master, among other artists, but that was not really famous:

But all changed on mid 2004, when the Master realized that, since founding Galitsin-News, he had more than enough money to use much more expensive models, so he decided to start a new phase of his business using already famous models. The first of these was recommended to him by Slastyonoff himself, who had been photographing Valentina a little:

another of Dima Zvere's girls known as Маша Кузнецова [Maria Kuznetsova], who had been appearing in Met Art for over nine months and who had also been photographed by Alexander Fedorov, under the name of Koika Melissa:

In my opinion, the decision to include more expensive models because they were already famous was a huge mistake the Master made. In the West — where his photographs were basically sold — gentlemen wanted to see girls who looked like normal, girl-next-door teenagers, not over-the-top models who simply didn't seem to fit the Galitsin style. But the Master wanted to feel like a recognized and highly successful photographer, and he believed that with those types of girls he would be able to cement his fame. A bad move, or what do you think?
